1994-2015

I joined the Pat James Band in 1994.  The band had the house gig at the Buffalo Chip Saloon in Cave Creek, Az. when I joined the band they had Pat James; lead guitar and vocals, Danny Sneed on pedal steel, Dave Cash on bass guitar and vocals, and Larry Bailey on drums and vocals. Not long after I joined the band, Dave Cash quit the band, and we hired Bob Burch on bass guitar. We were together until 1999 when I quit the band to move back to Ohio. In 2000 I moved back to Arizona, and believe it or not, I got my job back as the drummer for Pat James.

When I got back Dan Doiron was playing bass guitar. And after a while we hired Dennis Shoup on bass guitar, and Austin Brooks on piano and fiddle. Dennis decided to move on, so we then hired Randy Guinn on bass guitar. Then Austin Brooks left the band, but Danny, Larry and Randy stayed with Pat James for many years.

Then in 2015 Pat James decided to leave the Buffalo Chip Saloon, but the band decided to stay behind. So we hired Curt Reid on lead guitar, changed the name of the band to PickO’TheLitter, and the rest is history.
